The neck is SET into the guitar - just like the big name brand instruments so the guitar is going to have improved sustain, an AMAZING feature given the price!!  The neck of the instrument is relatively skinny and easy to get to grips with.

Tokai have also fitted high quality pick ups in the PAF vintage MK4's so you will be able to obtain all the classic tones out of this instrument.
