In 1982 the western guitar market was shocked into submission. Never before had it seen instruments of such quality from a Japanese builder. Tokai had come to town and had changed the entire perception of the guitar world forever!
The Tokai LS48 is a fantastic Les Paul copy electric guitar made in China. The LS48 features PAF Vintage MK4 Pick Ups providing a great rock tone. In addition to this, the guitar also sports a very attractive flamed sycamore laminated top on a solid body. The guitar resonates beautifully which is transferred to the overall tone of the guitar. The LS48 also has a set neck which aids sustain further. Fit and finish of the hardware etc is excellent as is expected from Tokai.
