The Jackson KV2T King V Electric Guitar is part of the USA Select Series - made in the USA.

A true Jackson beauty. Mahogany body, three-piece mahogany neck (through body), compound radius ebony fingerboard, 24 3/4" scale, Seymour Duncan® humbucking pickups, string-through-body bridge and black hardware.

Pick ups are provided by Seymour Duncan by way of a TB-4 "JB" in the bridge which is great for heavy blues to heavy rock - plenty of output while retaining the clear highs and agressive harmonics.

The SH-1 59 provides Late-‘50s, vintage-correct, humbucker sound. Warm and crystalline clean tones. Full and bright distorted tones. Smooth sustain. Classic appointments include plain enamel wire, long legged bottom plate, vintage single conductor cable and no logo. Compared to the SH-55 Seth Lover, the ’59 has slightly more scooped mids and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance.

The neck is quatersawn hard maple which is incredibly fast with a slim profile. The neck is a compound radius design where the neck is flatter higher up the neck for fast lead work, bending etc, and rounder down towards the nut to make chording comfier and easier.

In terms of actual playability the changing radius is hardly noticeable at all as it grduates very gently up the neck. However you will find this neck design allows your playing speed to improve - the shredders among you will really appreciate this!! Fast lead runs and string bends high up the ebony neck especially are a doddle and just feels.."right!".

Making these necks is a time consuming process and shows a level of dedication you'd expect from a high end Jackson instrument. In addition, the neck is quatersawn wood which is strong and will be more stable throughout it's life than normal plainsawn wood.

What else can we say - this is a pemium Jackson USA guitar from the King V USA Select Series, an absolute masterpiece - the Flying V doesn't get any more rock than this!!
