The original RG's offered double-locking devastation only. But many metal adherents demanded the simplicity of a fixed bridge.
Their wishes were granted.

The RG3520Z is another gorgeous specimen from the Ibanez prestige range, featuring a Mahogany body with gorgeous flame maple cap. In addition to this, the RG3520Z features outstanding hardware appointments such as the excellent Edge Zero trem system which is highly adjustable and finetuneable to your needs.

The pick up configuration is HH switchable with the 5 way selector allowing you to use each pick up on their own or mix in the middle coils or wire in the neck pick up in parallel respectively for a wide range of tones. The bridge pick up is a pokey rock pick up, perfect for crunching tones and will clean up nicely with the volume rolled off. The neck pick up is fat and warm while still packing plenty of punch. Ideal for rock styles, the guitar is versatile enough to handle a range of styles however. No matter what style you are into - the guitar is a deam to play.

The main controls of the guitar are dead simple, with a global volume and tone - very responsive with smooth roll off/on.

Edge-Zero
The ultimate form of Edge, the Edge-Zero is the merge with the ZR Trem, another Ibanez tremolo revolution. Maintaining brutal action of knife edge, the Edge-Zero deploys all unique features of ZR such as on-board intonation adjuster screw and the arm torque adjuster. And the new snap-in arm socket is easy to insert/remove the tremolo arm and you can feel it goes in securely. Edge-Zero is featured on the all RGT Prestige, RG3000s and RG2000s.

Intonation Adjustment Tool
Just unscrew the built-in intonation adjustment tool from the base and screw it into the bottom of each saddle for quick adjustments. U.S.PAT No.6,867,354

Arm Torque Adjustment
Arm torque is easily tightened or loosened by turning the arm-holder adjustment screw.

New Top-Lok
With the very simple design, the new Ibanez Top-Lok no longer requires the retainer bar to maintain string tension. The Metal injection molding process has made all the edges smooth so your hands aren't scratched.

ZPS3
After having relieved so many players from tuning nightmares, the Zero Point System is now available on selected RG Prestige models. The new ZPS3 utilizes Duralumin, an alloy known for aircraft material, drastically reducing its weight as well as the size of the cavity on the body back. Switcheable to floating setup.
