Gretsch G6121-1955 Solid Body Electric Guitar - Western Maple Stain

The Gretsch G6121-1955 Chet Atkins is a part of the Chet Atkins solid body range of instruments made in their Japanese facility.

A stunning instrument from Gretsch. The Duo Jet features a chambered Mahogany body which gives the guitar greatly reduced weight and is surprisingly light for a Les Paul sized instrument. Tone wise the guitar has a vintage holllow body vibe with loads of resonance. This is capped off with the excellent Gretsch DynaSonic single coil pick ups for plenty of sparkle.

We are an authorised main Gretsch dealer in the UK and all guitars are sold with a full Gretsch UK warranty.

Gretsch DynaSonic Pick Ups
"DynaSonic Pickups Yield a Tone of Incomparable Power and Fidelity!"

Originally known as the Gretsch-DeArmond Fidelatone, the DynaSonic single-coil pickup has been a Gretsch standard since the late '40s. Being one of the first pickups to offer individually adjustable pole-pieces, DynaSonic pickups feature shimmering highs and a rich, full bass response.
