The American Vintage '62 Stratocaster is a period correct re-issue harking back to the early 60's for a guitar with stunning tone and classic vibe.

The body of the guitar is Alder which is contoured to be comfortable to play. The guitar is finished in nitrocellulose lacquer which is a relatively thin layer thus allowing the wood to resonate more naturally transfering into a lovely warm plugged in tone. The neck of the guitar is a traditional C shape which is comfortable to play - not too chunky yet not a super skinny - just right.

Pick ups are 3 x American Vintage '62 single coils which provide glassy cleans and plenty of "honk" when cranked through a warmed up tube amplifier.

An absolute classic - brought back to life in the Fender American Vintage range.
