Fender American Standard Stratocaster - Charcoal Frost Metallic - Rosewood Neck

The new Fender American Standard Stratocaster takes the original classic design that has been widely vaunted since the 50's and incorporated a range of modern features that make today's guitar revered as an industry standard in playability and tone.

The body of the Fender USA Strat is Alder. Alder is an excellent tone wood which is widely associated with the stratocaster guitar. This resonates nicely which transfers through to the plugged in tone of the instrument. The American Standard Strat uses a thinner undercoat than previous models which allows the body of the guitar to resonate more naturally than thicker painted versions.

The neck of the guitars are maple with a satin finish on the back which allows smooth, non sticky play up and down the neck. This is topped with either a Rosewood or Maple fingerboard with rolled edges again adding to the overall smoothness of playing.

The guitar is equipped with excellent american strat single coils. For all the spanky Stratocaster sounds that have made the guitar famous - no need to look further. The American Strat is fitted with one volume and 2 x tone controls one of which is a delta tone control which from 1-9 functions as a normal tone control, but at 10 takes the control out of the loop completely delivering more bass and high end along with higher out put - great for solos and "digging in".

The guitar also comes with it's own fitted hardcase as standard.
