ESP LTD M-1000 Electric Guitar - See Through Black

The LTD M-1000 from ESP is part of the LTD Deluxe guitar range.

The M-1000 is the epitome of a modern rock guitar with professional grade appointments and a stunning flame maple top.

The guitar features 2 x EMG Pick Ups - with the 81 in the bridge position is a high output pick up which is lends itself perfectly to lead guitar as it will drive tube amps fairly hard making it an excellent choice for power rock and roll and heavy rock. There is also an 81 fitted in the neck pick up positional also which provides a slightly smoother tone perfect for mellow cleans or chunky chord riffing.

The body is solid Alder which is arguably the tone wood of choice for super strat type instruments. The instrument resonates beautifully and is aided even more so by the neck through design. In addition, this construction method allows for an incredible smooth neck profile high up the neck which would normally be occupied with bulky join work. This allows unrestricted access and smooth playing all the way up the neck.

Other appointments include a Floyd Rose Locking trem system which works well to keep the guitar in tune while delivering all the flexibility required for modern rock techniques.

Some of the special features of this ESP LTD Guitar include:

TWO-WAY ADJUSTING TRUSS ROD
Most of our instruments are built using a 2-way adjusting truss rod. Unlike a traditional (single-adjusting) truss rod which is still commonly used on many other manufacturers' instruments, our truss rod is adjustable both clockwise and counter-clockwise. With a single-adjusting truss rod, once you loosen the nut all the way, that is it. You are left with no more adjustment – this can leave your instrument unplayable if the neck cannot be adjusted properly. By using a 2-way truss rod we have eliminated the possibility of that ever happening.

SET-THRU NECK JOINT
Our innovative neck construction technique gives you the look and feel of a neck-thru-body design while maintaining the warmth and wood tone combinations of a set-neck instrument. Access to the upper frets is not a problem. And gone is that old traditional “bulky” set-neck heel.
