The LTD KH-202 from ESP is part of the Kirk Hammett Signature series guitar range.
The LTD KH-202 is based Kirk's Japanese ESP instrument with great features at a more accessible price point.
The guitar features EMG-ESP LH300 pick ups which give the player access to great distortion tones as well as nice cleans for more melodic moments giving you the building blocks for nailing Kirk's tone, while being versatile enough to start getting a sound all of your own.
The bolt on neck is a very thin Flat shape and slightly wider at the nut than the normal ESP LTD guitars just like Kirks top of the range model. It is comfortable to play whether slow chord progressions or shredding at full tilt.
This guitar features all the hallmarks of Kirk's top of the range guitar, with great quality pick ups, a lovely fast neck and Licensed Floyd trem system - all at a very attractive price point.

TWO-WAY ADJUSTING TRUSS ROD
Most of our instruments are built using a 2-way adjusting truss rod. Unlike a traditional (single-adjusting) truss rod which is still commonly used on many other manufacturers' instruments, our truss rod is adjustable both clockwise and counter-clockwise. With a single-adjusting truss rod, once you loosen the nut all the way, that is it. You are left with no more adjustment – this can leave your instrument unplayable if the neck cannot be adjusted properly. By using a 2-way truss rod we have eliminated the possibility of that ever happening.
