ESP LTD EX400 Electric Guitar - Black
The LTD EX-400 from ESP is part of the EX series guitar range.
The EX-400 is based on a classic shape with more modern styling. The body is solid mahogany which resonates nicely, aided by the set neck joint.
The guitar features 2 x EMG Pick Ups - the 81 in the bridge position is a high output pick up which is lends itself perfectly to lead guitar as it will drive tube amps fairly hard making it an excellent choice for power rock and roll and heavy rock.
The 60 in the neck is another exceptional choice for heavy rock styles with bright attack and high output the pick up allows the guitar to crunch through the mix on stage lending itself well to rhythmn playing. In fact, this is the same pick up as you'll find on James Hetfield's signature ESP models!
Other appointments include the Earvana compensated nut which aids intonation on the fretboard which is a nice addition. Tuners are good quality grovers and the instrument will hold tuning well.
This guitar features all the hallmarks of an ESP LTD rock machine. A lovely fast neck, brilliant styling and excellent pick ups all at an attractive price point.
