ESP LTD EC400VF Electric Guitar - TSB
The LTD EC-400VF from ESP is part of the LTD EC Standard series guitar range.
The EC-400VF is based on a classic shape with more modern styling and in stunning flamed maple top in Tobacco Sunburst.
The guitar features a classic Seymour Duncan JB/59 set with the JB in the bridge position being the higher output rock pick up, perfect from heavy blues to heavy rock. The pick up has clear highs and aggressive harmonics throughout.
The 59 model pick up in the neck is a good pairing with the JB as it provides rich and warm clean tones and full rounded distortion sounds. Overall the instrument has great sonic versatility no matter what style of music you are in to.
Other appointments include the Earvana compensated nut which aids intonation up the fretboard which is a nice addition. Good quality Grover tuners are fitted and the instrument will hold tuning well.
This guitar features all the hallmarks of an ESP LTD rock machine. A lovely fast neck, brilliant styling and excellent pick ups all at a very attractive price point.

Some of the special features of this ESP LTD Guitar include:
TWO-WAY ADJUSTING TRUSS ROD
Most of our instruments are built using a 2-way adjusting truss rod. Unlike a traditional (single-adjusting) truss rod which is still commonly used on many other manufacturers’ instruments, our truss rod is adjustable both clockwise and counter-clockwise. With a single-adjusting truss rod, once you loosen the nut all the way, that is it. You are left with no more adjustment – this can leave your instrument unplayable if the neck cannot be adjusted properly. By using a 2-way truss rod we have eliminated the possibility of that ever happening.
EARVANA COMPENSTATED NUT
Esp was the first major guitar manufacturer to feature the earvana compensated nut on some of its most popular models. By compensating each string’s length at the nut (similar to how a bridge saddle is compensated for intonation) you will notice much more accurate intonation across the fretboard, especially towards the open chording area, where this problem is most common.
