ESP Horizon NT-II Electric Guitar - Dark Brown Sunburst
ESP Standard Series Horizon NT II - made in Japan with the utmost care and attention to detail one would expect from ESP.
The features of this guitar really speak for themselves with a Set Thru Neck construction visible through the transparent finish on the back of the instrument. This aids sustain and of course makes high fret access totally unhindered for lead playing. The top is high grade quilted maple which is set on top of a mahogany body with the maple set neck running all the way through the guitar.
In addition, the necks on all the Japanese ESPs are simply outstanding. The Thin-U shaped neck is as smooth as silk all round and the Ebony fret board is gorgeous and very very smooth. The guitar is also equipped with excellent quality Gotoh locking tuners
Pick ups are provided by Seymour Duncan by way of a TB-4 "JB" in the bridge which is great for heavy blues to heavy rock - plenty of output while retaining the clear highs and agressive harmonics. This is thoughtfully paired with a SH-1 "59 Model" pick up in the neck position which gives the the player access to warmer clean tones and full/rounded distortion sounds giving the instrument great versatility and quality no matter the style being played.
The Horizon NT II is a real players guitar delivering no nonsense power rock and roll tones, great neck, great sustain - it's an ESP afterall!!!

Some of the special features of this ESP Guitar include:
GOTOH MAGNUM LOCK TUNERS
ESP proudly features Gotoh locking tuners on many new and existing ESP Standard Series instruments. Gotoh parts have long been the choice for many ESP instruments over the years. Gotoh's unique design automatically locks the string to the shaft while winding the tuning key (tuning to pitch).
SET-THRU NECK JOINT
Our innovative neck construction technique gives you the look and feel of a neck-thru-body design while maintaining the warmth and wood tone combinations of a set-neck instrument. Access to the upper frets is not a problem. And gone is that old traditional “bulky” set-neck heel.
TWO-WAY ADJUSTING TRUSS ROD
Most of our instruments are built using a 2-way adjusting truss rod. Unlike a traditional (single-adjusting) truss rod which is still commonly used on many other manufacturers' instruments, our truss rod is adjustable both clockwise and counter-clockwise. With a single-adjusting truss rod, once you loosen the nut all the way, that is it. You are left with no more adjustment – this can leave your instrument unplayable if the neck cannot be adjusted properly. By using a 2-way truss rod we have eliminated the possibility of that ever happening.
