ESP GL56 George Lynch Signature Electric Guitar - 2 Tone Sunburst
ESP GL56 George Lynch Signature Electric Guitar - made in Japan with the utmost care and attention to detail one would expect from ESP.
A to die for neck exquisite finishing and professional grade parts all make this 56 style perhaps the most exciting instrument we've ever had in stock to date.
Everything about the instrument it silky smooth and feels as if it has worn in over decades making the GL56 a tactile delight. The neck of the instrument is a thin U shape which is extremely easy to get one with. The satin maple is very smooth to play over from the back and the frets are finished to a very high standard making playing smooth and easy.
The bridge pick up is a high quality Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates humbucker which is designed specifically for slightly hotter output than a vintage PAF. The pearly gates does retain the voicing however for harder edge blues, classic and straight rock.
The single coils are ESP Japanese units which can only be described as sonically "bell like" producing crystal clear strat sounds which complement the humbucker perfectly and is George's choice for this guitar.
The GL56 package is completed with an ESP Japan hard case along with certificate of authenticity with George Lynch's signature.
The GL56 is a very well thought out and equipped rock guitar that any player whether a George Lynch fan or not will appreciate and love to play. It has instantly become a favourite in store and in some way's we'll be sad to see her go! "Good home wanted!!"

Some of the special features of this ESP Guitar include:
TWO-WAY ADJUSTING TRUSS ROD
Most of our instruments are built using a 2-way adjusting truss rod. Unlike a traditional (single-adjusting) truss rod which is still commonly used on many other manufacturers’ instruments, our truss rod is adjustable both clockwise and counter-clockwise. With a single-adjusting truss rod, once you loosen the nut all the way, that is it. You are left with no more adjustment – this can leave your instrument unplayable if the neck cannot be adjusted properly. By using a 2-way truss rod we have eliminated the possibility of that ever happening.
SPERZEL LOCKING TUNERS
We have been using these fine tuners on our instruments for many years. Always requested by professional artists, these tuners are a must-have for the demanding musician. The key to their design is eliminating wraps around the string post, which can cause string slippage and tuning problems. Simply loosen the thumbwheel located on the back, feed the string through the post, lock the thumbwheel tight, cut off the remaining string, tune up and you’re finished – better tuning stability and no more restringing nightmares.
