Focusrite Launch Scarlett 2nd Generation Audio Interfaces
Focusrite Launch Scarlett 2nd Gen Interfaces
Focusrite's Scarlett range of interfaces were some of the most popular we've ever seen; plug & play USB interfaces built with high-quality components and at a great price. I guess you could be easily forgiven for wondering what could be improved?
The 2nd Generation of the Scarlett range is packed with upgraded features, including new super-low latency allowing you to track multiple parts - with effects applied & monitoring enable - in total confidence that you will hear your perfromance in real time.
The unit itself has been physically upgraded, featuring an even sleeker brushed, red metal chassis, as well as a new metal gain control. These units are tanks and the smaller models have clearly been designed with portability in mind.
The Scarlett range now functions at sample rates right up to 192kHz meaning even better quality recordings. The mic preamps has a redesigned and more even gain structure, allowing for more accurate setting of levels and the instrument inputs have been fine tuned to handle the hottest guitar pickups around.
